God, that last bit was so achey. I hardly ever read this era because I love them being happy, but I'm so glad that I read this fic. It's such a marvellous idea and you pulled it off so well. I loved the transition from happy and together to broken and sad. That last rule was heart-breaking, especially as we're left to guess what's happened.

I tried hard to make Peter sympathetic, at least in part, and a viable part of the group while still edging toward the outside, so I'm glad if that came across!
