!!!

THANK YOU! This was absolutely magnificent. I didn't think anyone would write about a holiday meal so thoroughly but wow. Just wow. I could practically smell what Remus was making (and I loved his reasoning for doing so! It's so very Remus!). Also, as an American who's always delighted by distinctly British things in fic (like pretty much all the food in this fic) this was right up my alley.

I really loved how warm this felt. It's such a cozy view into their relationship and it's perfectly Christmassy without being too saccharine. That's a hard line to walk, well done! And naturally I also appreciated the smut ;)

Really fantastic, thank you again! Now you've got me curious about Usquebaugh...and a little afraid of it too, haha. Hope you had a good holiday season! <3

Oh I'm so glad you liked it!

This was originally much longer and when I chopped it back to fit a "small" gift sort of size, some bits of the food prep accidentally got lost, too - I've just rectified that now.

And I'm so happy you enjoyed all the food! Deciding on the recipes was fun, the menu is actually a mash up of historical and modern food, things that sounded sort of vaguely Wizarding and/or just delicious. The recipe for goose with hyssop and quince is early 14th century, and that particular Usquebaugh - the grand uncle of whisky! - is from the 1720s, but everything else is eaten widely and with great relish today. In fact, devils on horseback is one of my favourite Christmas treats, if you haven't had them before, give them a try!

I'm also chuffed you thought it was Christmassy (not a big fan of Christmas personally).

hope you had yourself an excellent winter holiday! And once again thank you for your wonderful comment! Xx

This was so much fun to read! All the little details about the food made me feel as if I were there, and I was imagining what things tasted like. The passage with the time turner was fascinating--of course there'd be thousand mundane reasons to turn back time, including aging your dishes. (And, for me, honestly, improving my own time management. Cooking always takes longer than I think it will.) What a fun and unusual story! Thanks! M.

Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Yeah same here if I had a time turner I'd definitely use it all the time to solve my time management problems in life generally haha! And glad you liked all the cooking, too! X

Awh so sweet! I adored Remus's determination to cook the Christmas dinner, and the use of the Time Turner was perfect! Hehe it was obviously a turn on for Sirius as well when Remus admittied to be a voyeur on their past selves. Nicely done! <3

Thank you very much! Yeah it would be weird to encounter your past self via a time turner, but I thought it might potentially be quite fun too haha! Thanks again X
