So, I finally got to read this, and Oh. My. Goodness. I love it so much ♡♡♡
It’s pretty much everything I could wish for in a fic for the holidays, so soft and gentle and sweet, with a bit of magical mystery as well.
I adore Lie Low At Lupin's fics, and I was intrigued by how they’re not already together or have a romantic history at this point - it's not something I see all that often, but it really worked here.
The way you managed to add the 'historical AU' prompt in a Lie Low at Lupin's fic was perfect and took me by surprise, and how wonderful that their former selves also were close. It made me curious about if they knew each other in other incarnations as well, and if Sirius' visit changed the historical Sirius Black's story in any way.
The ice-skating scene was wonderful, with all the vivid details, Sirius' joy over being outside and free (which was bittersweet to see), and of course his encounter with Remus. Oh, and I adore the image of Remus jumping over hats, that was such a heartwarming and fun detail, love it!
Great ending as well, how Sirius now saw Remus with new eyes. Maybe their changed relationship can help Sirius feel slightly less trapped?
Thank you so much for this, it was so very lovely, and I love it a lot ♡
