This is such a sweet glimpse into a happy ending for their lives! I really enjoyed Sirius's characterisation, in particular, and the dialogue was excellent! Thanks for writing!

Remus and Sirius having raised Teddy always makes me all warm inside!
Remus as the worried father - and Bill in the same role - was very well done, and Sirius is so much himself here with his input and well-timed lines.
The Most Noble and Ancient House of Black would be pleased to pay for the marriage of the quarter-Muggle half-werewolf heir to the House of Black to that lovely quarter-Veela blood-traitor daughter of yours.” Sirius’ eyes twinkled on their own, expressing his delight. He always loved spending the Black money in the most blasphemous of ways.

Thank you so much! It is exactly what I wanted - nice domesticity between Remus and Sirius and mentions of Teddy and epilogue - you included it all and it is wonderful. I love Remus and Siriuis' relationship here - just eating breakfast with Remus all worried and Sirius calming him down, discussing newspaper article and wizard politics and their interaction with Bill. Remus and Sirius are just so nice and comfortable with each other.

I liked Bill and Remus saying identical things and Sirius just being blase and offering lots of money. Teddy is working for fashion house! And Remus squinting because he refused to admit he needs glasses! And that quote of Sirius that a commenter mentioned above - just lovely. And just the perfect sentiments at the end. How I wish they could have grown old with each other. That is why these fests are for - all the wishful thinking.

Thank you again for the present. This is my busy-end-of-the-semester have-to-grade-gazillion-papers week and it was such a great distraction.

I'm really glad you enjoyed it. It went an entirely different direction at first but it ended up being less than happy and dead ending so I went back and made it happier and it flowed a lot better as a happier story as well. I teach college so I know what you mean about having a gazillion papers to grade!

Can I pretend this is canon now? Because I feel like if Sirius and Remus really did raise Teddy and Teddy wanted to get married really young, this is exactly the conversation they would have. Loved this fic, thank you for writing it!
