Tempting me with scandal amongst Sirius' neighbors after he brings Remus back to Guildford Manor, as Sirius slowly becomes a confirmed bachelor, not entertaining any notions of marriage, brushing them off immediately and doing nothing more than politely dance the one required dance on the hostesses of whatever entertainments he goes to, or with the wives of friends, and never any of the girls out on the 'marriage mart'. That, combined with how close Sirius seems to be with his new estate manager, the polite but withdrawn Mr. Lupin...

Cry. I have two other huge historical plot bunnies that have been eating me as well. ;o;

Ah, I'm so so so so SO glad you liked it! I was getting a bit nervous as the fic sat in the queue, haha! I love AU, but I especially love incorporating canon into it, seeing how situations would play out in this different setting. It's fun that way. :D
