i think that was probably my favourite canon yet, it was slightly angsty, but not too sad. I loved when remus was feeling all sulky and sad and was saying how they all knew he was in love with sirius, as well written as this story was and however much i ADORED it, i was a tad disappointed you didn't expand on that. Maybe have James or Sirius say something about it, or james look at him with pity. still, a great story. can't wait to find out who the author is!

Thank you so much. I'm glad you liked it. I never thought of having James mention that he knew and when I read your comment, I agreed with you.

I adore this. There is looming despair all over this but i cant help but feel a little uplifted by Remus and Sirius discussion. touching souls indeed. that was just a all to perfect and accurate description of Love in my opinion.

and then your descriptive prowess brings me o my knees in awe and worship becuse dude "
A murder of crows rose up from the field, disturbing his thoughts and twisting in the wind, their caws echoing in the twilight. " had to be one of the most intense lines i've ever had the pleasure of reading.

Thank you! That description of love comes straight from Joni Mitchell. I loved that I got to use it as my prompt.

Your imagery is spectacular...
"Nearer the house was a small barn, its paint long worn away by the rain and wind, which leaned precariously enough that the next storm might finish it off." One can picture this so easily, and so may other phrases- the smell of snow. I love the use of the Morrigan, and that Sirius has Remus to tell him about fairy tales. A totally wonderful story.

This has a very canon feel to it, very much the way I imagine their lives. It's tragic and heartbreaking but I love in the midst of all the chaos and mistrust they are able to find their way to love. Very nicely done.
