This was a really sweet and unusual story. At first I saw the title and thought about the movie "Riding In Cars With Boys," but I was pleasantly surprised at the originality of it. At first I also thought it was set in America, but the London scenes were really cool.

What you did with the characters was fresh and unique. The punk rock version of Sirius and shy, put-upon Remus were fun.

I still can't do that quote thingie, but I liked this part quite a lot: "I don't see how anyone can like someone more then you.” The words were out of Remus' mouth before he could stop them. He blamed the remnants of the alcohol in his system, which he also blamed for the intense blush crawling up his neck. But before he could back track or utter an apology for being lame, Sirius leaned over the table and placed a kiss on his cheek." It was very sweet.

Finally, this was the perfect (and I do mean PERFECT) use of the prompt.

I thought it was a really good premise and idea, but I really think you should have made it set in America, because there are a lot of things in this that just weren't in 1970's England - or even current England, really.

This was so sweet. Sirius was a doll and I loved seeing all four of the boys meet and have fun together.

you know, i really liked this. there was something about this story that made me feel very much at home. that probably does not make sense to you, mystery author, but on some level this fic just worked for me. it resonated with some experience (or maybe movie) i've had or seen. there was something about sirius's devotion and remus's shyness that really spoke to me and made me feel comfortable ( ... )
