Ow ow, and much fucked-upness abounds. This definitely rings true for canon. So sad, but at least there's some comfort, some communication there. Augh!

Nicely done.

See, I like this. Too many "Lie Low at Lupin's" have been either them fluffing and fucking like happy rabbits or yelling at each other before wild make-up sex. This, though, this is much more real. It's close and intimate and full of trick walls that fall down easier than one expected.

This is wonderful. :)

god this broke my heart. the worst part about it was that it felt horribly real because you dealt with the subtle knitty gritty of their relationship rather that the big drama. that made it seem so much worse and also very beautiful. this was not meant to be an insult, btw. it was meant to be a compliment. most authors deal with the well-worn drama of the past mistrust and the present angst, but this was really about relationships. you write nicely and it was really sad.

Ouch! So painful. God, they are so fucked up in this time. This line: “It hurts me to sit there and watch you be dead, when you're alive.” made my chest hurt.

Beautifully written, and it feels very canon; the closeness and the distance.
This really got me

“I think I remember,” Sirius' voice was tight.
“Well that's how I feel about you.

Oh, God, my heart!
