The Daily Snitch Rec Collection Post

As many of you know the daily_snitch  is a community that posts recommendations for outstanding HP works of fanfiction and fanart. It is a fine site and a truly excellent way to get the word out about rs_games. The Snitch posts links to works that have been recommended three times anywhere on LJ (other than in newsletters), and we would like to assist them in getting

What usually happens is that everyone who rec's something links it here, and we collect them and send them on. You can look at last year's post as an example, but generally people say stuff like, "I rec'd "Story A" and "Story B" here: (gives link) and we make a note of it. After three rec's for the same work we post a note saying, "Story B was sent to the Daily Snitch on Oct. X."

What you might want to do is watch this post (which will be linked in the side bar), count the number of rec's per Team AU fic, and then send them in yourself. Pica said she would help out with Team Canon before she leaves and then we can take it from there.

The only difference for you guys is that you can make rec's yourself and we can't, so you might be able to rec faster. In other words, if two people rec something and one of you guys does, you can go ahead and send it to the daily_snitch. Please just make a note of it here.

By the way, the reason we are collecting here and not on the team communities is that people like the fantastic werewolfsfan as well as former participants and random fans need a place to send us links in which everyone has access.

Does this make more sense? Basically, we all just need to watch this space for links to recs, send them into the Daily Snitch, and let everyone else know when something has been sent.
