Wonderful! Wonderfully poncey--just like it should be! This was a great read and I enjoyed every minute of it. Love how you 'twisted' The Prank around so that Sirius was with Snape--and how you still got Sirius involved in the Animagi transformation bit. I just got home from work, and this was the perfect story to read. Witty, sweet, and fun. Well done!

i found myself utterly believing in (and utterly in love with) ravenclaw!sirius. this fic was very sweet, but also fascinating. you created a very believable au world and i really enjoyed it. i love seeing remus from a distance (or through the eyes of a very different/other house) sirius and you created that very, very, very well. yet, these characters all remained true to themeselves and that was cool, too. i enjoyed this a lot and highly recommend it.

If you'll rec this on your LJ, I will too and we'll be 2/3 of the way to Hot Recs in the daily_snitch!

Thank you very much! I hadn't written for a long time when I decided to participate in the rs_games, but I'm very glad I did (I've also never had any of my fics to be 'highly recommended', so I thank you for that!). :D

Twisting canon seems to be what I do best. :) Ravenclaw!Sirius was so much fun to write that I'm considering a sequel. Possibly?

Thanks for the comment! :D

I was already squeeing in mad fangirl glee from the second paragraph onwards! Okay, maybe the first...... And you didn't let me down anywhere! Sirius was like his usual fanon self and yet not and a poncey delight in every way! I could read this incarnation of him and his family and friends forever. Sequel? I especially like how well planned is your AU. Everything that happens here is believable in the light of your world with poncey Sirius, the ambitious Ravenclaw. I especially like his relationship with his family including manipulating his mother and how he tries to maintain his relationship with his brother. The deal with the Gryffidor's is believable in light of the situations and personalities you've portrayed here and great fun besides. I adore the idea that the spells and potions are to help and to train you to release your inner animal and that Sirius wouldn't know what his is since he was attempting this in secret. But what really grabbed me was this exchange about Lily Evans:

I'm so very glad to have you squealing in fangirl glee! This was one of my favourite parts to write, because I wanted to make it clear that there was no level of bisexuality for Sirius, not even a little bit. My brother was my inspiration here, as he has an odd dislike of redheads. Apparently the fact that they have red hair seems to justify his dislike in some way. *rollseyes*

Anyway, I did plan on going further with the story but ran out of time, so it is possible I'll end up writing it some day. Unfortunately I find myself with a thesis paper the size of Molly Weasley's rack - which I imagine to be quite huge, seeing as she had seven children - so it will have to wait.

Perfect, just perfect. I *loved* your Sirius here, how confident he sounds about being handsome and intelligent. :D

Confidence is an intricate part of this Sirius that I can't seem to justify. While it is true that in canon he seemed sure of himself, I think that he would have had to live with many insecurities, especially considering his family.
