This is a bit too saccharine for my taste but I respect the obvious efforts that went into it. Just like Sirius, you wanted everything to be perfect! I was totally sympathetic with Remus about the "joys" of spending the whole day minding a six year old boy! And I could also empathize with Sirius and Lily's problems in bringing off the big event, especially as a surprise. But frankly, if someone tried to marry me without telling me in advance or including me in the plans, I'd have killed them!

aww... I had no problem with the saccharine... I'd take saccharine over angst any day... there is too much angst in the canon as it is... YAY! for happily ever after AU's... I love R/S "wedding" and family stories... and as much of a planner as I am... I think I'd actually be totally okay with a surprise wedding... pleased even... nice job. :-)
