Well, wasn't this cute. I love this premise for how Remus knew the Marauders even though he didn't get to attend Hogwarts. That was very clever. And you've captured that uncertainty of being asked out by a friend very nicely, that whole idea of "what is this, actually".

I particularly liked this bit:
He was on a fucking flying motorcycle, with the most incredible man he had ever met in front of him, like hell he would worry about where exactly he should put his arm.
I do love a Remus that can be sure of what he wants and just go for it.

Lovely little read.

Totally agree with museinabsentia here: Great read, full of warm and fuzzy feelings AND I think it fits the prompt perfectly.

OOHH!This is very creative,I love the way you've used a setting where Remus doesn't go to Hogwarts but gone in a very original direction with this. The pen pal idea is really fun to read and I could just see their characters shining here from within their exchanges. Loved the little worried bits and tense moments because they meet for the first time. Oh Sirius, asking if Remus is real!hahah!!

Really great fic, it was just so sweeeet!!! <3

Very sweet. I like your ideas of how they meet and communicate through the years

such a well-crafted tale! so compact and yet it told so much!

i adored remus here, so funny and unsure of himself and yet still possessed of that same delightful remusness that made the marauders (and us) love him in the first place. but the real treat was the clever way you constructed the whole scenario with him not going to hogwarts yet communicating with the marauders. it echoed wonderfully the modern communication era of facebook, texts, snapchat, twitter, and instagram. i know there are people out there who have made lifelong friends like that and you found the perfect magical way of capturing that. well played, mystery author, well played!

and, of course, it was very well-written.
