Let me take a deep breath and say this that if the death hadn't been hopeful, I might have died. Okay, that's so not an apt thing to say for this fic! But but ohhhhhh. This work is so gorgeous, it's a whole other world on its own. It's so completely AU yet every character is so in character, I'm awed by your work. I just loved the atmosphere here, can I say that this creeped me out like a Stephen King book? I love Stephen King so...anyway! The details are just on a whole other level, I could hair picture everything vividly here, and not having any knowledge of the bells and necromancer didn't trouble me either, everything was so mysterious yet clear where it was needed to be. <3
This broke my heart for them, seeing how their ending wasn't necessarily going to be happy but their 'life' together was just so beautiful in the midst of the 'dead world' which had a life of its own, that I think the ending completely balances out everything here and was the only way things could go. Your use of Fenrir and Remus's relationship, Sirius and Dumbledore, the magic and the whole setting is just utterly enchanting.
Even the last scenes, aaahhhh! I almost turned away from seeing Remus going though that torturous journey having to do something he had never wanted to but I had to read it and then sat and then finally am commenting on this a day after I finished this master piece! All in all, thank god you're in team place! XD
