daaaaaaaang! that was sooooooooo good. not to mention utterly exhausting. i was in tears in the beginning and then on the edge of my seat, but by the end i was oh so relieved and really wanted it to have happened that way. and it did really happen that way, right? remus saved the day? yes, of course.

it was a wonderful take on canon, but i am particularly astounded by sirius's voice here. i've read so much from remus's point of view, but very rarely sirius's and very rarely this nuanced and compelling. you really captured not only his essence but his blackness, his ancestry, his reckless elitism. it was all so perfect.

just... wow

This was so well written, Sirius' scattered thoughts throughout really showed his sense of shock. The scene in Godric's Hollow was so visceral I felt like I was there - seeing it though Sirius's eyes and thoughts was haunting, I'm not sure I've read a passage like that before.

The addition of the artwork was great, lovely details from the cushions to the band shirt to the highlighting, but stylised at the same time. You're definitely multitalented!

I do have a soft spot for 1st person POV stories, I don't see it very often in this fandom. And this is a story where it really worked for me, Sirius' voice is so clear, we get under his skin and can feel his confusion as well as his grief and anger. You did a great job showing us how he experienced the events at the Potters', it's written in a way that got to me. And when he sees Harry, aah, so sad and poignant and moving. Your portrayal of Remus too felt very real - I adored this: He’s running cold and accurate now. He’s merciless. He’s terrifying. He’s beautiful. It's easy to think of Remus the mild and gentle one, and he is, but he's other things as well, and I can vividly see him how you've described him here. Really great work.
Love the artwork as well, all the lovely details, the books, and Sirius' t-shirt! Perfect!

A first person POV and done so well!!The ending may not have been perfect yet but I love how you changed up things while still leaving them mostly canon, hehe!

Ah Sirius, I felt so bad reading his thoughts and emotions and the way his thoughts kept running over each other and in a loop and here and there but then he focuses on Peter and revenge. And how he begins thinking of him as 'The Rat'! Your writing was something else, alright. I felt everything Sirius did, damn! The bits with Bellatrix makes me think that maybe if Bella wasn't crazy she might just have been Sirius' favourite cousin with their mischief and recklessness. That's a thought I've never had before actually.

All in all, I must say that your writing is just perfect!
