OOOOHHH!!!To think how darn sad things are for Sirius. We always see how people want to go back to the past and change things but you've really gone in a whole other direction and done it brilliantly. Even within a thousand words you've made me feel so so much for Sirius, seeing how he is all lost and alone, him thinking about Harry, about the 'other' Remus, it all broke my heart for him. And Remus,oh, he is such a sweetheart.

The line about Sirius having to sit around traitors and corpses,oh my gosh,it really is such a powerful line. Loved the way you wrote that!

So glad this had a happy ending (in my head everything works out after this) despite starting out with Sirius's angst!

Oh poor Sirius. What an interesting, clever take on this. Both on bringing Sirius back, and on dealing with his memories. We so often see fic dealing with the things he's forgotten, thanks to Azkaban, but never with him being the only one to remember. This is such a fascinating premise. And now I'm going to go off and imagine that he managed to convince Peter to never switch sides, and that everyone gets to live and be happy. Because that's how it should have gone, and he has the chance to do it. This was so lovely.

What a brilliant and unique idea, and a really powerful piece! The line about sitting with murderers and corpses is just killer (excuse the pun) - and I loved the way he thought of older/younger Remus, in fact I loved the whole scenario. Excellent story, with a perfect ending - though I would've loved to read more!

Such a gorgeous thought and a great use of a not-often-enough-used-imo trope. I love that you do not shy away from some of the grittier emotions involved for Sirius.

this was brilliantly unique and original. this fest has already produced some really great time travel/sirius-lost-in-time stories, but this one really stands out for its utterly fresh take on it. kudos to you!

you explored sirius's emotions so very well and i felt so sorry for him. but yay for remus being so wonderfully perceptive and kind. that is very in-character, too.

my only qualm is that i wanted more! i want to know what happened! please write a part two!
