You know, I've seriously considered making this an original story, but I feel like some of the meaning disappears when you replace Remus and Sirius with new characters. So! I'm just expanding on this story so that I can fit in all of the extra stuff I wanted to include the first time :D
Thanks so much for such an amazing comment! <3 <3 <3

The world that you created was so perfectly thought out, you could really feel the attention you had put into building it. I love differing forms of magic, and you just managed to capture it so well, with sigils and chalk.
Sirius was wonderful, just the right amount of hot and cold, there really was a sense of his friendship with Remus growing.
The action was all so amazing and incredibly well written- it's not something I usually find myself getting really drawn into, but I really did here. You write tension so well, and there was something quite visceral about your descriptions, the mud and Sirius smelling of gunpowder.
Most of all the ache, though. You just nailed that bittersweetness that sums up R/S.
I loved all of the characters, imagined anew as they were, they still felt very true to themselves. I loved this story, I want to wrap myself up in it and never leave. I'm with everyone else, I would read SO much of this universe.
So brilliant <3 <3

You created a fully realized universe using familiar characters. It was an interesting take on magic combine with vivid descriptions of horrors of war and trench warfare.
I also really liked how you wove Remus' back story and how Sirius helped him accept his skills as a wizard and get past the trauma of his father's death.
And the ending is hopeful - Sirius will always shine for Remus.
Very well done.
