What an incredibly original idea! I love the idea of Sirius as an actual star. The war, and Remus' backstory and, it was just all so clever. The ending was so bittersweet, though, and just, you want to hug them all. Although, I think Sirius was wrong, it definitely seemed to me that Remus had given him his heart after all. What a well crafted world. It could have kept going and I would have wanted to read every bit of it. Simply wonderful job!

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked the universe I made for them and how they all fit into it ^^ And hmm, yessss, seems like Sirius got Remus's heart after all, just as you said :) Thanks so much for reading, and for leaving such a great comment! :D

this was amazing! will you please consider writing an entire novel set in this universe? i would totally read that. heck, i would read it even without sirius and remus in it, but they were really great too. this story was so cool. it kept me on the very edge of my seat and i clung to every word. it was so original and interesting! it felt like world war 1 with the trenches and all and i admire the way you researched all of that to make it feel really real and authentic. i also liked the way you used james, lily, marlene, peter, frank, and all the rest. they felt like both canon and original at the same time and that says a lot to me. please write more of this!

Ahhhhh I'm blushing~ />/////<\

You know, I've seriously considered making this an original story, but I feel like some of the meaning disappears when you replace Remus and Sirius with new characters. So! I'm just expanding on this story so that I can fit in all of the extra stuff I wanted to include the first time :D

Thanks so much for such an amazing comment! <3 <3 <3

This was amazing, you have truly outdone yourself!
The world that you created was so perfectly thought out, you could really feel the attention you had put into building it. I love differing forms of magic, and you just managed to capture it so well, with sigils and chalk.
Sirius was wonderful, just the right amount of hot and cold, there really was a sense of his friendship with Remus growing.
The action was all so amazing and incredibly well written- it's not something I usually find myself getting really drawn into, but I really did here. You write tension so well, and there was something quite visceral about your descriptions, the mud and Sirius smelling of gunpowder.
Most of all the ache, though. You just nailed that bittersweetness that sums up R/S.
I loved all of the characters, imagined anew as they were, they still felt very true to themselves. I loved this story, I want to wrap myself up in it and never leave. I'm with everyone else, I would read SO much of this universe.
So brilliant <3 <3

I love the concept of this, of Sirius as an actual star having to save Remus' life in return for Remus' saving his. Love the action in this, and I love the balance of magic and 'Muggle'. Very nicely done!

You created a fully realized universe using familiar characters. It was an interesting take on magic combine with vivid descriptions of horrors of war and trench warfare.

I also really liked how you wove Remus' back story and how Sirius helped him accept his skills as a wizard and get past the trauma of his father's death.

And the ending is hopeful - Sirius will always shine for Remus.

Very well done.
