Wow, this was achingly lovely. Emphasis on the aching part. All the pain of those 12 years compiled into such a compact ball of hurt and love and loss, and it was heartbreaking, but wonderful. And I love the idea of them killing the moon, even if it was metaphorically. Amazing start to the games this year!

this killed me a little inside but in the very best possible way if you know what i mean. i felt sirius in every well-written word and every emotion of it. it was so beautifully lovely and sad i just want to cry, but, instead i read it twice.

This story is unbelievable! The best way to begin the RS games. I loved the theme that ran through it of finding ways to kill the moon. It was so innocent and so much deeper than I thought it would be.

Beautiful!!

This is gorgeous - eerie, strange, dreamlike, and oddly, beautifully sweet at times. The hazy quality of it, punctuated with some incredibly powerful, lucid lines: it makes for a wonderful rythym for reading. Well done!

Thank you so much!

PS - I just want you to know that I revisit the R/S lovepost you made back in 2009 every couple of months, or whenever I'm feeling down. Consider this a super belated thank you :)

What a wonderful start to the games. A perfect story to begin. The prose was so beautiful; there was a lyrical quality to this story and storytelling.

I like the idea of the moon and killing the moon and the moon that overlooked all the actions, all the scenes. I liked seeing both points of view and how each viewed the other.

I was also fascinated by the comparison of sex to transformation - very evocative in the description.

And the escape from Azkaban itself was well thought out and interesting to read.

Beautiful wonderful story that I feel will stay with me for a while.
