that was really beautiful and poetic. i really liked how it flowed almost more as a prose poem then a traditional fan fic. that worked really well for me. i really liked how you used smoking too. it was a really beautiful motif that gently held everything together. that was really cool.

you write so beautifully too. Sirius shrugs. He doesn’t say it’s because all your walls are down so early in the morning, and he doesn’t say I don’t like watching you smoke, I like watching you, Remus, will you kiss me now? because that’s melodramatic and very seventeen-year-old and although he is a seventeen-year-old and melodramatic he doesn’t want to feel like he is. He’s better than that. ‘Dunno,’ he says, because that’s clearly much better. i really liked how that flowed. i wish i could describe it more but that is it.

thank you for writing this.

This is probably my favourite from Team Remus. God, how lovely is this? Everyone else has said it, but I love your prose, it has that understated quality to it, you never waste words and you choose the best sort of details to paint your scene with. The quietness of this, mixed with a gentle humour and bittersweet love. I love how Remus's parents find out that he's with Sirius. That must have been quite a scene! XD

And Remus smoking has to be one of my most favourite things ever, which is a plus. Very very lovely work (but I've said that before).

I like the smoking as the element that is waved through this story. I can so see Remus smoking. Remus smoking in the morning at the Potter house looking out of that window was one of my favorite parts - just very descriptive and poetic.

Wonderfully lovely and bittersweet. I particularly liked the vignette with Remus's parents.
