i have so much love for this story. it is not even funny. this was one of those really rare fan fic stories that would be really interesting even if it was not about remus and sirius. it was just a good story in and of itself. i really loved it and everything about it.

the plot was really amazing. it seems like you spent so much time making sure that everything really worked well. it all made sense and was really logical. like the part about how the trees sucked power even from spell books. i really like stories in which magic makes sense and there is an actual reason behind things. i think that tolkien did stuff like that in his writing. he made up an entire world that worked together. rowling does that too. you did it very well.

i do not usually care for regulus but i really liked him here. he was very funny and endearing. i really liked this part
"So that was your brother."

"Yeah."

"He's kind of a bastard."

Sirius laughed, "It runs in the family." it was funny and cute. it also showed remus's very dry wit. it worked very ( ... )

I have to say the most interesting thing I found about this fic was definitely the interactions Sirius had with his family. I don't think I've ever read a fic that explores the dynamics of his relationships with his family if there was no war in the same angle this story did! I just adored that there was some unease, but mostly it was kind of just like, this is Sirius' dysfunctional family. I'm a total sucker for Regulus though, and I loved his lazy interest in his brother's life. <3

Gorgeous piece of writing.

Loved the atention you payed to the details. The doors, the buttons, the artifacts, magical theory, it was very intelligently written. It´s this sort of thing that makes a fictional universe come alive.
I actually want more of this, I wanna know what was made of the trees, I want to hear Regulus dating stories, I want more about the buildings and their secrets and, of course, I want to know how Sirius and Remus´ relationship progressed.
Well.... we can´t always get what we want, right? ;)

Oh my goodness. This absolutely took my breath away. I just love every single small detail - the doors piled high, each one leading somewhere (or not) and the buttons containing charms, and Sirius's wall of clocks. I just wanted to dive into this little world you created and never leave, it was really really fantastic. I also really enjoyed the different take on Sirius's family, that he half hates and half loves them all, wants to escape them but also doesn't - the whole thing was just wonderfully fantastic. I really just didn't want it to end.

How very beautifully and lovingly written it was also. Fantastic.

This story fascinated me. You created a very intriguing world of magic full of well-thought out details. Bits like the buttons and the trees were very compelling. I would love to see those trees visually. They were quite beautiful as you described them. The fact that you described Regulus as catlike was very special to me. I think of him as a cat. You showed that detail well.
