This postcard has been returned today after ten years lost in the Russia's post office (which are famous for losing things).
It is a fictitious letter from Steve (Jobs) to Bill (Gates) asking to borrow money to buy a flat in Moscow, which represents the ridiculous prices even for rich people. This wasn't the first time that Steve has "borrowed" money from Bill. In 1997 Bill supported Apple to save it from bankrupt in a win-win memorable action. With this, they stop the copyright demands between Apple and Microsoft; stop the monopoly restrictions from the US government against Microsoft and Apple; and stop the continuous downfall of the Steve's company. The postcard is a picture of "windows".
The stamp is the Рабочий и Колхозница monument, which is situated in front of the building, and represents the USSR… the building is facing the past.
The people who buy those apartments, are buying a Soviet Dream.
This postcard we made together with Gustavo ( he is from Mexico). It is our product during Citizen as Customers week. Task was to make a postcard represent a microrayon. As I said: price, which people use to pay, for the flat in similar houses, is not reasonable. Citizens when they bying an apartment in such houses in microrayon in Russia, they (and we) pay for Soviet Dream, which became more and more elusive during with time..and become more and more expensive as far.
