Only now have I realized the true comedic timing of tumbleweeds. Sure, I have knowledge of its symbolic representation of desolation, but it's the simplicity of those tumbleweeds that tickles me. In fact, tumbleweeds, just as they are, are pure comedy to me. If you wikipedia them, scroll down and you will see a couple of tumbleweed example photos. My favorite one is "a tumbleweed caught against the fence". I also enjoy "tumbleweed in Chelan, Washington".
The tumbleweed is extremely versatile in different environment settings. Here are some examples:
