Summary: [Prompt] AU. A world where angels are the ruling class, and they often take humans as their mates/consorts. Dean & Sam have only had each other since their parents died, but Dean is chosen to serve as Gabriel's consort and Sam is left on his own. Determined to find a way to be near Dean again, he sets out to attract the notice of the only member of Gabriel's flock who doesn't have a mate: Castiel.
