Hnng. Sexist bathroom makeout I've read this morning. I loved the descriptions of Cas making kitten noises, and being tiny in Sam's arms. And Cas telling Sam that he'll do fine when giving him his first coffee? D'awww. Also, A+ use of a double-hand-clasp. I do love that Cas masterminded to plan to get Sam moving, but didn't bother taking the first step himself. That kind of manipulation is 100% angelic-canon right there.

Now I have this thing in my head that wants Castiel's other angelic traits to be due to the coffee. Like he's just so strung out on caffeine all the time that it seems as if he pops in and out of nowhere, and of course, because he never seems to sleep.

But yes! Okay. Because telling Sam that he'll do fine on his exam is like, "I have faith in you," which gives me feels, and then hands around the coffee because more feels. And just all the things for this barista who goes out of his way to figure out who Sam's brother is and figuring out that Dean will be a good pawn to use and arranging it with him and Dean agreeing and him probably knowing that Sam wants all up in his junk but is just too chicken to make the move himself.

Yessss. In my Dean, Cas lays out his plan all calm and collected, and Dean is all "You would rather go through all of this than just ask him out? Heck, you two are perfect for each other."

Also, caffeine-junkie!Cas needs to happen. His incredibly BAMF angelic wrath? It's what happens when Sam tries to switch him to decaf.

And then we find out that Castiel lives in the flat above the coffee shop with a mattress for a bed and no frame, an open floor plan and a minimally stocked kitchen and no coffee maker and they have domesticy moments because Sam teaches Cas how to make things other than scrambled eggs and toast and they play board games or Sam will spread out his research across Castiel's floor and them some times, when the stress gets to Sam, Castiel will roll him face down onto the mattress and press him into the pillows and cover him in the smell of ground coffee and massage him and kiss the back of his neck --

And then stuff.
