Summary: Future!AU. Kurt has spent the last six months as a beta tester for the virtual reality video game, Dalton. His boss, Wes, is a psychologist and the main programmer for the video game as well as its characters, the foremost of which is a boy called Blaine. What starts off as a simple job, however, becomes more complex as Kurt becomes invested in Blaine's character and forgets, sometimes, that nothing he sees in Dalton is real.
