Model UN this weekend was awesome. The delegates came up with some great stuff and said they learned a lot. They got through both topics and passed three draft resolutions. I love directing.
Today, they finished voting early, and so for the last 30 minutes, we had fun time.
Here are the highlights:
The delegates from Belgium and the Russian Federation did 'The Worm.'
The dias looked favorably upon Bolivia and Georgia going on a date.
Someone sent us a poem, most inspiring/hilarious lines include:
My heart is black and cold, death.
Living makes me want to stab things.
Are you good at trig?
Best MUN Pickup Lines:
"I'll moderate your caucus."
"Its not how big your placard is, its how long you can hold it up."
A delegate came up to us saying that after this weekend they were going to apply to William and Mary. I should have told them not to. There's nothing to do in Williamsburg. Except Model UN. We're two time world champions. Yes, I'm basking in this reflected glory. W&M Rocks.
