(no subject)
I am having an absolute nightmare--only I am still awake! Damn computers!! If they'll just do what they are told--! I'm on a loaner right now--don't ask--and it's making me want to pull my hair out. Yep, every last fucking strand! Actually, what it really makes me want to do, is pick up this fucking thing and chuck it from the window of the highest tower I can find---AFTER I set it on fire! But, beggers can't be choosers, right?
On the lighter side of things, last night was absolutely amazing...! I've collected more LJ friends to my friendlist in one day than I have in a month. I'm sure all of these ppl are going to go "huh? who IS this rrpierce person that just added me to their list?", shrug, and wander off doing the things that they normally do. I didn't have time yesterday to do a single thing--not a single chore. Well, I walked a few dishes straight into the sink, but that was about it.
Ok, well...I can do this. This will not be a pleasant day, but it'll be a day. At least I *have* some method of getting on the internet, sending/receiving email..right?
And on a final note, I am happy to say that several ppl I don't even know (well, in person, anyway) have bought a copy of Waves From My Oddest Sea (my book!) and I stopped and did the little Snoopy-Happy Dance all over my livingroom floor.
Things are looking good!!
My mood is frustrated AND happy--but for different reasons. I guess, overall, I'm still happier than I am frustrated, so it's a good start. :)
