(no subject)
Cleaned my car for five hours today. It looks beautiful. I never felt inclined to clean the Camry (now dubbed "THE AMAZING IGGY MOBILE," and don't you forget it!), but while I was doing errands with my mother, I noticed the dirt from afar in the parking lot of the Spanish-speaking Publix (god, I love you, West Tampa!), I knew things had to change. Washed, waxed, completely cleaned EVERYTHING on the inside. Satisfied (and tomorrow, I will be 10 dollars richer!). Other than that (and a few errands with the madre), this day of groundation was a bland one.
During my cleaning, as I was rocking out to the likes of Jello Biafra and the Dead Kennedys boys, I heard the phone ring. I've never been more delighted to hear his voice - the time difference makes it so difficult to communicate regularly, so seeing his name on the caller-ID is always a surprise. The conversation was short, as he had to go to dinner - but I'm not sure I can last another 5 days.
