My interview was… odd. The Grad student who interviewed my showed me all the rooms in the lab and explained the study that is currently going on. He took me to an interview room and explained a lot of the procedures to me, what most of the focuses for the study were, etc. That being said, I couldn’t read his face at all. I was worried I was boring him at first, but he wouldn’t keep eye contact so I don’t think that’s it. His face was pretty emotionless, except for when I mentioned I loved Dr. Fite, am a sociology minor, and have babysat a child with asperger’s syndrome. Those were all positive reactions. I think.
I’m hoping the interview went well. I’d love to work in the lab, especially since it combines the individual and the social aspects of psychology that I love so much. He said that I would hear from him in the next two weeks, and if I didn’t to e-mail him. I’m assuming that’s better than, “Don’t call us, we’ll call you.”
