so i got an email from an all boys sproting camp in Maine. They said i look like a good candidate to be a counselor at their camp next summer. It would be 7 weeks around $2000. The camp is supopsed to be a good camp and they tout the fact that they have an extensive process for finding their conselours. i guess that means i should be flattered or something. $2000 is not really much money, but of course i wouldnt be spending it like i do most summers. I dont really care about the money, i just want to have a good summer. I think i'll email them and ask what they would have me doing there. They ask for 5 references, that are not family members or friends. Steve, Kevin, Bill? (From the Ymca), liz maybe, uhm...not sure who else. i feel bad asking the YMCA people cause i havent made clear to them what my position with them is. i dont want to quit because i get free access to their facilities.
hmmm.... i was thinking that i also don't want to leave my friends here. The truth is as much as i love my friends back home, my life isnt my friends. shouldnt live my life for hanging out with my friends.
