I think that it's absolutely ridiculous for someone to claim they started a trend.
That they were the first. I don't know if you've ever realized, but there are over one billion people on this God forsaken planet. Originality is impossible. Every move you make, have made, will make; Every thought you think, have thought, and will think have already been analyzed, thought of, done, expierimented and failed at a billion times over. The world as a whole needs to get over itself. Everybody here thinks the whole story is about them.
Definitely that goes for everybody in the world.
