The book is DONE.
That's right. The book is done.
I've sent the copyright out on the final draft, and I'm meeting with my agent on Tuesday to talk about strategy and sign the paperwork. Then it's up to him to sell me, and up to me to live up to it. :)
I'm printing out the dreaded 'red ink' version of the book for him. Double spaced, pages numbered, with plenty of room for both him and the publisher to make their marks. o-o That's OK, it would be boring if they just said 'this is perfect', right?
I meet with my agent on Tuesday to sign my soul away, then we find a publisher and we see if this thing is a best seller or a 40 year old virgin.
