Fag!

So I was somewhere where a typical male, in a fit of frustration, called another a faggot. Rather than getting involved, I took a moment to ruminate over the situation, and it's actually kind of interesting.

Take a moment beyond the normal accusations of faggotry and look into what's next. Usually saying the person sucks dick or takes it up the ass. The interesting part is that not only is the person accused of being gay, but they're specifically a bottom. It's never something like "yeah well I bet you hold dudes down and ram them up the butt." It's always "I'll bet you just love a big dick in your ass, don't you?" The real focal point isn't the sexuality, it's the act of being the recipient of a sexual act.

For straight males, the act of sex is always, ALWAYS, one of giving. In an ass, in a vagina, in a mouth, stroked in a hand or between a pair of tits. Sex isn't just a matter of getting off, it's a matter of conquest. You're taking YOUR sexual organ, jamming it INSIDE someone else, and leaving behind YOUR seed. It might be why men and women look at sex differently. Men stick it inside a wet hole, women have to let someone else invade their body.

So, what could possibly be a greater attack to a man's masculinity? Suggest that he's the one getting topped, that he's getting a dominant man's tool put inside HIM. That's why the whole "you're gay" thing is always centered around sex. That's the part that really gets to "manly men", the idea that a man would ever allow someone else to enter HIS orifices. The concept is so foreign and "wrong" sounding. It really ISN'T about sexual orientation, about love or any of that nonsense. More like the old Viking tradition of raping the leader of the town you just conquered as an act of dominance.

Yeah, I always think about these things too hard.
