- 1. The Cemita de Milanesa de Pollo which I just finished eating. Mmmm, smoky. And I have grown to love Papalo!
- 2. Helping my friends move some equipment to Brooklyn for their big record release party tonight.
- 3. Sitting with my new-ish friend L over dinner a few days ago, getting to know each other better and really talking about deeper stuff than I reveal very often.
- 4. The first few scenes of Shortbus which is all I saw before sleepy S and I agreed we should postpone viewing until we are both awake!
- 5. Dinner with a bunch of friends and acquaintances last night on a record company tab. Main attractions: D's very cute and evolving haircut and M's presence, since I like her a lot and want to get to know her better. Food was pretty good too.
- 6. The CD of Haitian Rara and Dominican Gaga I borrowed from R. The rara stuff in particular hits my sweet spot. I love the clattering percussion and one-note hocketing of the horns.
- 7. Hearing from E that my package of music has given some pleasure to her.
- 8. Three very cute and sweet cats. I am resisting the temptation to very easily complete this list by giving different numbers to a number of different incidents and/or sleeping positions these creatures charm us with.
- 9. Hearing repeatedly from my wife some very welcome and deeply desired professions of love and respect.
- 10. Hearing from my wife (some very welcome and deeply desired, though not yet repeated) specific and quite erotic instructions/demands about how to please her and, by following the requests, successfully aiding her in achieving an orgasm.
