Changing an Application's Volume
Does anyone know of a utility that lets you change an application's output volume or disable it all together?
Sometimes I listen to music quite loudly while browsing sites like Myspace. When I go to someone's page who has music set to autoplay, I am barraged by cacophony. I would like to simply 'mute' Safari or something like that. The only solution I have is to block plugins on myspace with PithHelmet, but that's kind of like getting rid of an itch by amputating your leg.
I tried googling, but had issues since 'volume' can apply to either sound or something on which files are stored.
