Things I want, etc.
Well, I'm up earlyish again to work on the kitchen. Today I am grouting between the tiles and painting and replacing the trim. Hopefully this'll be the last day. The most challenging part will surely be getting everything (the stove, refrigerator, tables, chairs, etc) out of the dining room and living room back into the kitchen. When it's all done, I'll post pictures. I should've taken pictures of it earlier, so that I would have some sweet before and after shots.
My friend Pete came to Rochester for two days and a night, leaving yesterday. It was a lot of fun having a guest from out of town and showing him Rochester. The Rochesterian things that we did are the following (a useful list if you ever have to entertain out-of-town guests):
1. Wegmans
2. Park Ave
3. Mendon Ponds
4. Spot Coffee
5. A movie (we saw War of the Worlds)
6. Ellison Park (Pete brought his dog, so we had fun at Ellison park....sadly, she almost got lost....happily, she was smart enough to go back to the car for rendezvous)
7. Eastview Mall (we went specifically for Maggie Moo's...yummm)
8. Driving Range
9. Raspberry Picking
10. Eating: we ate at Camille's on Park Ave, Brighton Donuts, and Great Northern
Looking back on it, that was a lot to do over the course of 27 hours.
