I have just seen the news report on Britney Spears, driving her car while holding her infant son in her lap. One hand on the baby; the other on the wheel.
The newscast reported this piece at the end of the broadcast, as if it were an entertainment piece.
This is an outrageous and appalling bit of news.
The whole world is watching what this 'superstar mom' does, and I think she should be treated like any other mother.
If this were any average woman, she would have been ticketed and possibly charged with endangering the welfare of a child. In some cases even harsher consequences would follow, such as being found an unfit parent; maybe even losing that child.
I’m thinking perhaps Britney Spears parenting ability should be thrown under a microscope, instead of her ass.
There are very serious laws that the rest of us have to follow regarding the safety and welfare of our children, and Britney Spears should NOT be an exception.
The story she gives; the excuse is that the paparazzi had been harassing her. So freaking what?
This was not extraordinary; this was just another day in the life.
She should have securely put the baby in his car seat first, and then taken off…it’s that simple.
