The Rajasthan Royals emblem is a reflection on the golden past and a promising future for Rajasthan and the team. The lions flanking the RR insignia and blowing the war horn symbolize royalty, might, raw energy and the power of the Royals. The logo also includes a war horn, which denotes the war cry - the call to war and the sound that the enemies will come to fear. The medallion is a symbol of the clan's pride, the war horns raised in full glory in readiness of the imminent war.
A lion, exemplifying royalty, is a mascot of the Rajasthan Royals. The Royals mascot 'Moochu Singh' is an urbane lion, who believes in the values of strength, dignity and pride, yet is not toothless. The Royals generals (players) and its countless soldiers (fans) pride themselves in being associated with the ultimate sign of royalty.
Just like the lions, the Rajasthan Royals are the kings of the IPL. The journey to the top however was not an easy one. The Royals were branded as the 'underdogs' as we boasted of no 'icon player' and consisted of hitherto lesser known cricketers. However, that did not deter us from believing in ourselves and performing to our potential. We began our campaign with a defeat which made our resolve to win the IPL even stronger. The defeat was followed by a string of victories all strung together by our legendary captain and coach, Shane Warne. Warnie was the inspiration behind the team's stupendous success in the IPL. He was ably supported by the team who rallied around their leader in unison. It was this special ability which helped us become the champions of the IPL inaugural trophy.
It has been an eventful journey - from being the underdogs, with no chance of winning the IPL, to being the defending champions. We are not resting on our laurels as our next campaign will be as challenging, if not more challenging, than the earlier tournament. We have proven ourselves before and we will do it again.
Halla Bol!!
