Post 2x06 Never Been Kissed

After the rumors going around of the school bully Karofsky being gay, Rachel is convinced that her own tormentor, Quinn Fabray, is also in the closet and deeply in love with her (because of course, who wouldn't be in love with Rachel Berry).

So Rachel feels like its her responsibility to let Quinn know that she doesn't need to hide behind all those insults and that she understands what she's going through (because she has two gay dads). Without actually telling Quinn she knows she's gay, Rachel starts dropping 'subtle' hints to let her know she's always there to talk when she's ready.

Quinn isn't gay and gets really confused when she starts receiving pamphlets about 'coming out' in her locker, and notices Rachel acting really strange and nice to her - she even has the nerve to throw her sympathetic smiles when Quinn calls her Man Hands or Treasure Trail.

OR Quinn is gay and in love with Mercedes. She finally takes up Rachel's offer to talk who thinks that Quinn will finally confess her undying love for her. Rachel gets irrationally jealous that it wasn't her that turned the Quinn Fabray gay.
