"Yeah, man, this kid is hilarious! He's always doing something on set." Chad said chuckling almost choking on the beer he gripped in his hand.
Jensen wasn't quite sure why he was hanging out with Chad, no one had false beliefs that he could even tolerate Chad Michael Murry, yet here he was hanging out with the bastard. The only thing he was actually sure on was that he was on his fifth Corona, and his best friend was laughing in the corner talking to Allison Mack.
"Chad, you were telling us about what happened last week." Christian Kane said walking back to where Jensen was sitting.
"Oh, yeah, so Alexis just flipped out and starting yelling at Jay. Really over nothing, he just happened to be the one that walked in front of her, when she was being her bitchy self." Chad replied, reaching for another beer, then sitting back watching everyone else.
"Yeah, so?" Jensen asked wondering when he decided to pay attention to Chad about anything as pointless as a person he didn't know. But hell everyone here, including Chris, knew Jared, so he was frequently talked about.
Chad just looked at him confusingly before he realized he didn't finish his story. "Oh fuck, yeah, so Jared locked himself in his trailer for like three hours. The pussy."
"Shit don't tell me the boy did the whole little puppy-dog eyes routine." Chris stated.
Whoa Jensen thought, puppy-dog eyes. What is wrong with this kid?
"We talking about Jared?" Allison asked, joining the three guys sitting around the patio table.
"Yeah, how'd ya guess?" Chad sarcastically asked her, rolling his eyes like the drama queen he was.
"Cause, damn, Jay looks sexy as hell when he pulls out his now infamous puppy-dog eyes." She said sticking her tongue out at Chad, knowing he didn't really want an answer. "Oh, and when he chews on a cherry twizzler, ummm... makes me want to faint."
"Cherry Twizzler?" Jensen asked feeling like he was missing something.
"Jared has a candy fetish." Chris told him. Like it was the most normal thing in the world. Like saying the grass is green or the sky is blue.
"Candy fetish?" Jensen asked amused, trying his damnest to hide his smirk.
"Not like he likes to be smothered in chocolate sauce during sex" Chris replied before adding "but then again maybe he does, and is too shy to tell us."
After Chris opened his mouth and said something as awkward as that, everyone else refused to speak about Jared. Later on when Chris dropped Jensen off at his house, Jensen went directly to his computer and looked up Jared Padalecki.
"Damn he does look good." Jensen said imagining Jared dipped in chocolate sauce "Now I only wonder what he tastes like."

The next day, Jared answered his door to find Liza Weil and Kristin Kreuk smiling up at him.
"Hey! Weren't we supposed to be meeting Todd at the restaurant?"
"Yeah, in about an hour" Kristin told him in a way that made Jared think it was silly to ask.
"Then why are y'all here?"
"We were in the neighborhood visiting Mike and thought we would just hang out with you until its time to meet Todd." Liza replied side stepping him and walking in.
"Well then, come on in." Jared sarcastically told Liza.
"Where's Harley and Sadie?" Kristin asked walking in behind Liza and not seeing the two dogs.
"Oh they're in Texas, I'm going back next week and picking 'em up."
"Still talking to them like..." Kristin went to ask before Liza interrupted asking "Kris did you know that Jensen was from Texas?"
"Really? How did you find out?" Kristin questioned forgetting that Jared was even in the room.
"He was with Chris, Chad, and Allison last night. They got to talking and Chris mentioned to Allison that he was from Texas, along with another interesting fact that you won't be able to guess."
"What, that he's bi?"
"Oh my God, how did you know?"
"Come on, he's too pretty not to at least hit a few home runs for both sides."
"Wait. What? Who are y'all talking about?" Jared asked puzzled, yet a little intrigued.
"Jensen Ackles. He plays Jason on Smallville" Kristin told him. She then stared at his blank face before adding "You know the show I'm also on?"
"I know what Smallville is. I'm just trying to figure out which one is Jason."
"Jared for once, do what a normal person would do, and look him up on the internet if you want to know how pretty he is. Actually he may just be your type" Liza told him laughing a little.
Kristin however had already proceeded to find a picture and called Jared over to see what Jensen looked like. "Drool's not a new fashion statement." She said through giggles staring at Jared whose jaw had dropped.

As time went on, Jensen learned more about Jared then he knew about anyone else. Chris had more secrets from Jensen then did Jared. Jared slowly became like a shadow in the mind of Jensen and he never wanted it to fade. He held onto every piece of information he could get about Jared like it was a life preserver and he was stranded in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with little chance of rescue. He continued to think about Jared as much as he could. When he wasn't filming, learning lines, worrying about his family, or talking to friends, he only thought about Jared.
When the time came and Jensen left the cast of Smallville, his agent sent him to a reading for a new show titled "Supernatural". He went and read for Sam Winchester a little brother to Dean Winchester, both brothers hunted supernatural beings, everyone agreed he would make a great Sam, but shortly he got a call from the powers that be and he was told that he didn't get Sam. However if he wanted they would really like him to read for Dean. He asked them who got the part of Sam and was shocked when they told him, Jared Padalecki.

Jared went to the studio and was surprised to see that Jensen Ackles was also there. His eyes lit up and a devilish smile stretched across his lips. He confidently walked up to where the older man was sitting.
"Damn! I haven't had to look up to anyone in a long time. I may need an apple crate" The older man said smirking. "Jensen Ackles" he said standing and reaching out his hand.
"Jared Padalecki." The young man said engulfing Jensens hand with his own. "I think we have some mutual friends." Seeing Jensen's smirk turn into a knowing smile, Jared found himself bending down; pressing his lips to the older mans lips. Tasting Jensen as his hand rose to the back of his head, and traced his skull with tensing, gentle strokes. "This is going to be a fun show." Jared whispered.
