Another Idea...
Sorry if I seem a little crazy with another plot idea so soon but this plot jumped into my head so suddenly and I need to see this done.
BIG amounts of AU and angst! Please take a look at it!
Jensen Ackles
Jensen comes out to his parents when he's 16. It doesn't go well and he leaves angry and with a brusie forming on his face.
He and his boyfriend, drunk and trying to forget, go out for a night of partying and get into an accident. Jensen surivies, but his boyfriend doesn't.
Jensen falls off the edge after that, hurt and angry by his parents reactions and blaming himself for his boyfriend's death. He turns to drugs and drinking and partying. Finally, when he turns 17 he tried of it all and picks p and moves to California without a word.
If anything, his dangerous ways get worse once he's down there adding one night stands to the mix.
He becomes best friends with Singer-without-a-care Chris Kane and Finding-her-way Sophia Bush.
Sophia and Chris, although with issues of their own, are scared of Jensen's reckless ways and bending random guys over the couch. But Jensen refuses to listen to their pleas and they're afaird to push harder in case he runs.
Jared Padelicki comes into town. He's a struggling school student, working part time as a bartender at a club Jensen feqreuntly visits and roommates with Tom Welling.
It's pretty much lust at first sight for Jensen the mintute he lays eyes on Jared but the bartender isn't looking for one night stands of any sort, no matter how charming Jensen can be. Jensen isn't about to sweat bullets over it but he finds himself drawn to the guy and talking with him from time to time.
Jensen's rep isn't a secret around town and Jared hears details. He's wary but Jensen hasn't quite shown that side to him and still talks to him. Jensen takes it as a pity case and fight ensuses.
As a result, they do get together but Jensen makes it clear that he's not gonna stop his ways and he doesn't do realtionships. Jared's calm understanding and sweet ways drive Jensen crazy more then his hurt looks when he watches Jensen party and being reckless. He's not used to it and in return, he pushes Jared away and after awhile Jared can't take it and leaves.
He's tried of only getting part of Jensen and watching the man spiral into darkness.
It's a remake of when Jensen's boyfriend died. Without Jared he can't function no matter how much he denies it and his friends fear for him. Jensen takes the final step almost five months after Jared's left him and tries to kill himself.
Chris and Sophia freak, but Jensen's locked himself in his apartment and not letting anyone in. Chris finally calls Jared and begs him to come and talk some sense into Jensen. Jared's there in a heartbeat and Jensen opens to him.
They talk, they cry and finally, finally Jensen breaks. He's taken to the hosptial for observation (tried to OD) and a stomach pump and Jared never leaves his side.
It's slow going but Jensen agrees to get help, Jared there every step of the way with him (rehab, therapy etc).
A year later, Jensen still has problems but for the first time in a long while things are going good with his life and his relationship with Jared. He doesn't say it aloud, but Jared's his rock and Jared feels the same.
Jensen's return to work at a auto shop he first worked at when he first moved to Cali and has found a love and talent for art. He enjoys painting designs and things meaningful to him. He's even asked by his rehab center to talk in front of a group going through things he's gone through. He's afarid but Jared's there.
Jared gets into an accident and Jensen has a near panic attack. Jared doesn't wake up for a week and when he does he doesn't remember Jensen or what they've been through for the last two years.
Jensen has to stand back and watch as Jared contuines with the support of his family and friends, with not a clue to who he is.
(Jared may or may not start to be interseted in someone else) One night, Jensen's awaken by knocking on his door. It's Jared and he's confused and lost and asking why suddenly he remembers Jensen.
Most nights then not a relieved Jensen curls up in bed with Jared and answers his questions and tells him about them. The good and bad.
That's all I really got right now lol. Lots of angst and sadness and tear jerkers is what I'm looking for in this fic lol. Any takers? I'd love to write this myself but I don't think I'd get through chapter one without breaking down (it's a bit of a...personal look back on a old friend of mine...).
