The keyblade. A weapon said to hold great power. Legends have sprung up about these mysterious blades, some saying that the wielder of one saved the worlds, while others say that the wielders destroyed it.
Eons ago, there were an abundance of keyblade wielders, fighting between two separate sides. Light and Darkness. The two sides fought in a great keyblade war, and in the aftermath only a handful of keyblade wielders were left alive. Those that remained formed an Order, dedicated to protecting the balance between the worlds. And for years, the Order managed to do just that…
But then, due to the actions of one of their own, the order was completely decimated, destroyed by the traitor known as Master Xehanort in his mad quest for the ultimate power of the χ-blade and Kingdom Hearts. While a few masters remained, the order as it was completely dead, with little chance of ever being rebuilt.
Despite that, there were a few incidents that required the use of the keyblade to protect the worlds from the forces of darkness, and the few remaining people capable of preventing the end of the worlds managed to succeed.
Then things got worse.
The fallen Master Xehanort returned to life, leading an army with the witch Maleficent and the heartless at his side. But despite all of this, King Mickey, one of the few remaining Keyblade Masters, stood up to face him with the remaining wielders of the Keyblade and other allies at his side. But even so, the heartless forces that Master Xehanort and Maleficent’s combined darkness were able to control were absolutely terrifying.
But then another glimmer of hope appeared. Suddenly, and without any logical explanation, keyblades began materializing in the hands of several people throughout the worlds, in numbers that haven’t been seen since the Keyblade War long ago.
Now that there were several keyblade wielders, the forces of light had a chance at being able to restore peace to the worlds. They Keyblade Order reformed under King Mickey, located at his world of Disney Town. But not everyone who had a keyblade joined the order. Xehanort’s army now has Keyblade Wielders in its ranks as well.
That was five years ago, and now the war between the Keyblade Order and Xehanort is in full swing. And now, caught up in this mess is… you.

You may remember us from our previous incarnation where we were an AU game set after Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, but we've rebooted and retooled the game to make it easier for people to play characters from Kingdom Hearts. Our applications and reserves are open, and we're going to be reopening the game on July 11th.
