Entry #3 [Accidental Text Post // Public] [Backdated to the evening of the 21st]

[There's no context for this post--just maps. Quite a few pages of them, actually. They're surprisingly detailed and accurate, though a little shaky, given how sick Carpet is, but they all seem to be of the same thing--the land surrounding the town itself. Each one has the town and the sea as the only fixed aspects running through the series, but that's all that remains constant--everything else in the surrounding areas has no continuity at all, as though Carpet had visited completely different worlds. Mountains, forests, deserts, tundras, swamps, savannahs, canyons....]

[It seems like it should be impossible, for the terrain to be so wildly varied. But all of them are detailed enough that it's obvious that Carpet has been there--and if one were to go out and verify them, the landmarks in the various terrains would probably be correct, provided they hadn't been shuffled around in the meantime. But then again, is it really so surprising, with a world that shifts so abruptly between seasons, and can have fully constructed parts of town appear on a whim?]
