[015] video; fuck yeah chocobos

Apr 08, 2011 21:51

[The video opens up on Kuja surrounded by a multitude of multicolored chocobos, not only the ones from his world, but others as well. At the moment he's sidesaddle on a white chocobo, stroking its head with an odd fondness. Seems like the local jerkass is good with animals ( Read more... )

I've seen a couple of different colored ones back home. I've seen a black one and a gold one before.

The gold I've heard about, but the black I have no idea existed at all.

[As if on cue, a black chocobo draws near. Kuja pats it on the head as well, and it gives a satisfied kweh.]

I'd appreciate any information you could give me.

I'm not sure I'll be of much help, but I know that there were many people would breed them trying to get a faster or stronger chocobo. From what I've seen, the golden ones are quite rare and tend to be the best chocobos genetics has to offer.

Hmmm... well, while the methods to obtain one is different, I suppose the end result is much the same. Gold chocobos on my Gaia are desirable for their rarity and ability to fly.

I prefer my dragon for such transport, but to each their own.

Oh, were you not around for her introduction? There is a magnificent dragon named Bethany whom I had used for transportation, chiefly. She is a very pale green with dark pink accents. I've told her not to disturb the residents of the town, but obviously she'll retaliate once attacked.

[!!]

That's...convenient. Did she come with you from your world?

Not at first, but she was drawn when a number of other dragons appeared with her. It's strange that she of all dragons should arrive, but I've noticed that the selection of this world is anything but random.

Well then, I guess you're lucky to have her here, then! Though, to be fair to the poor chocobos, they weren't just used for transportation. At the Gold Saucer we had chocobo races for gambling fun.

Indeed I am; there's nothing like standing atop a soaring dragon for making an entrance, don't you think?

I've sometimes seen them used for kinetic energy, but I've heard of races as well. I suspect gambling is a universal constant.

I've never considered it.

Seems like it. It certainly has it's appeal.
