Where did that playful mood go? Oh right, this guy didn't have a 'good' mood. Still he was going to try to keep up the amusement. ]

[ Narrowing his eyes just a little. Sora knows if he gets mad this guy will only enjoy it.

[You can try to hide it all you like, but he can tell that negativity is there. It's small, because you're so ~bathed in the light~ or whatever, but you're human, and thus are subject to normal human emotions. Like irritation, anger ... fear.]

I'm not sure if I like sharing a face with someone. Especially a weakling like you.

So ... How 'bout I do us both a favor and maim your face beyond recognition? HaHA! [And then he gives a short, two-syllable laugh. When he laughs, it heightens an octave -- resulting in a deranged, discordant sort of sound. He's entirely serious, you know.]

[ And those human emotions are slowly starting to surface with the beginnings of his face hardening. It was hard to control them, the emotions, when the anger took to place of common reasoning. This guy. He just wouldn't give up, would be? ]

I wouldn't count on that! [ Cautious and a little at guard, Sora planted his feet at the spot where he stood. His fingers twitched, as if inching to summon his Keyblade.

No, not yet. For now he was just going to stay alert- deciding whether Vanitas really was serious or not. ]

Oh ho! [And Vanitas is so amused at how quickly Sora reveals his emotions he was so badly feigning as non-existent a moment ago. Even more amusing is how he looks ready to fight him! With what? His fists? ... Well, that Roxas kid had said something about being Sora's ... "Nobody" was it? ... Eh, and apparently that guy had been able to use a Keyblade. What about Sora? ... Doesn't hurt to find out -- heck, if he can't defend himself, Vanitas could just kill him and be done with the little look-a-like! So yeah, he can kill some time. Why not? And if it upset Ventus and some other people, well gee, there's a bonus right there. Negativity get.]

Then let's see... [He pauses, summoning Void Gear from a flash of purple flame -- and this thing is coiled about with chains and very big gear-like edges that look like they'll hurt.] ...what you're made of.

[ Well, he was going to try to avoid the fighting, but hey-- if you got some weird lookin' weapon all in his grill isn't not like he could refuse something like this. More so when this guy had gone around picking on Kairi and his friends. That just won't do. But wait-- ]

You-- you have a Keyblade, too? [ Of course he's never seen anything like it, so it took him a moment- doubling taking 'n all- to realize what the weapon was. Hm. Welp. Guess there was no holding back now!

So sliding his foot back into a fighting stance, Sora allowed his hands to come together and into a flash of enveloping light, his a Keyblade too appeared in his hand. Showtime, peeps. ]

Bring it on!

[Right when he heard the words "Bring it-" begin, he'd slid forward in a full-on frontal attack, attempting to slice right through him -- he was already moving by the time Sora said "-on!"

His attack might be dodged -- it'd probably be dodged, because please. Sora didn't seem that pathetic ... but you never know. Either way, bro, consider it brought.

[ Oh welp. You really were in it for the thrills, weren't you?

But don't think that Sora is going to block this one, instead he takes the blow head on with Keyblade raised. Moving the blade in such a way to lock hold of the other one just as it strikes down to attack. Now Sora pushes his weight forward in attempt to bring Vanitas off his balance.

There he could allow the opening to strike. ]
