[If chocobos could've thrown meteors, Gran Pulse would've been a mess long before she became a l'cie. Maybe it was a Never Was-specialty. Whatever the case, getting crushed by a meteor probably isn't the way Snow wants to go, so she rides her chocobo alongside the meteor-throwing one and hops on its back when it stops, successfully stopping it from throwing anymore burning rocks on hero boy.]
That's a good girl. [Ruffles her neck feathers] What's got a beauty like you all bothered, hmm?

[The hero, no longer needing to run, is hiding behind a corner, peering out carefully.]
[The chocobo, on the other hand, is cheerfully preening itself in response to Fang's attention... alternating with glaring at Snow when it sees the other l'cie peeking.]

[Fang slides down to her feet and keeps ruffling feathers lest it run off and throw something worse than a meteor on Snow.] Something else must've gotten you so mad, huh? [Preen preen. Fang apparently has a chocobo weakness.]

Yeah, but the ones there were nicer and less 'destroy you with magic'. I think I kinda miss them now.

[Unless...it was the mist or something. Hmm. Either way, Fang gives the Snow-chasing one another pat, letting out a short laugh when she glares at Snow again.]
What'd you do to her? She's likely to peck your eyes out at this rate.

[Though at that, the chocobo seems to decide it has pressing business elsewhere, and turns to trot off in the direction it came.]

These sure ain't Gran Pulse chocobos, but I figure it applies no matter what sort they are.
