Chocolate sauce and ropes? Those could be good ideas, you never know. Though you should be careful if you're doing it in the hotel, Xigbar probably has spy cameras everywhere. Then again, better cameras than him just looking on from the ceiling. People with gravity powers seem to have a voyeurism problem. Or maybe just Xigbar. [It takes her a little while to get to the beach, and she is mostly calm by the time she arrives. She sits down next to him, not saying anything, looking at his face for a few moments before she decides to speak.]

That's so strange. Nothing, really? That must be so hard for you. It's so sad, except... I guess you can't be sad about it. Is that good or bad? I can't decide.

... We can't be sad about it, but we can tell that something's missing. We're not complete without our hearts. We want them back.

And not being able to feel gives us a whole lot of time to think. Too much time. You start to imagine what it might be like if you do get your heart back, or... what it might be like if you don't.

Xemnas said that if we built up Kingdom Hearts, we would be able to get our hearts back. To build up Kingdom Hearts, hearts have to be released to it with the Keyblade, and to do that, the Keyblade has to kill Heartless.

... I know Vexen's been working on projects, though. Replicas, mostly, but I think he might have been working on substitute hearts, too. I'm not sure, though -- and if so, he hasn't gotten very far.
