[ The Chocobo Chick has somehow managed to find himself in the town square, which is decidedly not Cocoon, Pulse, or Sazh's hair. Perched on the back of a bench, he looks around -- but more importantly, looks adorable. ]

[Cloud can totally resist the cute, in fact, he's going to try to avoid more silly nicknames via Zack. In the end, he loses the battle and he's making his way over to the baby chocobo, reaching out to give him a pet. He's hoping nobody is going to see him.]

[ The chick is momentarily distracted by Cloud's hair, so he doesn't notice the hand reaching out to pet him. Once it makes contact, he flutters slightly, but when he isn't grabbed in any way, he bumps back against the hand and cheeps an affirmative. ]

[Cloud's going to melt a little here, thanks. He smiles and ruffles up his feathers, holding his hand out for the chick; letting him decide if he wanted to be picked up or not.]

Are you looking for your owner then?

[ The chick looks at the hand before carefully fluttering onto it and nodding at him. ]

[He brings his other hand up to scratch at the chick's feathers gently, sighing. He really didn't understand why people would compare him to a chocobo.]

Do you want some help?

[ The chick cuddles against him as he's scratched, closing his eyes slightly. At Cloud's question, though, he opens them and looks at him curiously. ]

[He gives the chick the same curious look, wondering where the owner could be.]
