[There's some brief dead air as the audio feed comes to life, broken by the sound of wind and waves. Soon after that is a calm voice speaking in a rather business like manner.]

If any ShinRa personnel are nearby, I would appreciate it if you would contact me. If there are none, I would like whomever does receive this message to please respond.

[Zack squints into the video with a little frown, as though trying to figure out Sephiroth's sanity for himself. But he sounds normal - well, as normal as Seph could be - and finally responds, though he's sounds a little on edge.]

Er...yeah. Been here awhile, actually. You don't sound too shocked to be a whole new world, though. [Then again, when was Sephiroth ever shocked about anything?]

I was rather surprised when the scenery first changed, but it isn't as if I can actually do anything about it, then or now. [Meaning, why waste the energy freaking out over the abrupt change when it can be put to better use figuring out just what happened and what to do next about it.]

What have you found out about this place in the time you've been here?

Besides the fact that it's completely insane? [Oops. Bad choice of words, maybe.] It's totally weird. There's people from a bunch of different worlds, but they can come from different times and stuff, too. Don't ask me how.

[Pause.] ...Speaking of which, what's the last thing you remember before ending up here?

Considering I just saw Rufus Shinra over this device and he appears to be at least in his early to mid-twenties, I'm inclined to agree with you both on the general weirdness and time issues.

[a faint sigh escapes him at that question because he has the sudden feeling he's going to be repeating the answer to it quite a bit until everyone here from his own world has heard it at least once] I had just returned from an investigation in Modeoheim and met you on that airstrip where Hollander escaped from you. If you recall, I directed you to return to Midgar during that meeting.

Heh, even if I was, betcha nobody would believe me.

[He's grinning, but it doesn't quite reach his eyes. Instead, his racking his brain trying to remember who knew what happened. Reno, right? And of course Tifa. He wasn't actually sure if Aerith knew, but she probably did - none of them would spill the beans, right? Oh man, he hoped so.]

Really, they were pretty boring. You could say I practically slept through them.
