After Paige orbed us here I wondered where exactly we'd start to look. Angelina's vision didn't tell us much but to listen for any screams and follow accordantly. I crossed my arms as I looked around this place, It smelled funny like she said. Also the place was very damp and the 'fisherman's market' wasn't all that it was cracked up to be. It was

Angelina's new vision had us here, looking for an innocent before she was killed. Unfortunately, Spike and I didn't have time to grab weapons, so Buffy grabbed some makeshift ones for us.

A shovel? I could fight better with my bare hands. But at least I didn't get the garden hose. I think right now, she is definitely liking me more, I mean, she did give me the better weapon. I had to fight down a laugh as we heard screaming. I did give Spike a look, then I went running after Buffy.

Great, we were here, no weapons and I get a bloody garden hose and a look from Angel. I was liking this working with him and Buffy less and less right now. I just wanted it to be me and Buffy. Why did he have to come along anyway?

"I saw that, you wanker! I can find a way to bloody hurt YOU with this thing." I said as we ran after Buffy when the girl's scream nearly deafened us. I had no idea what this meant, but I was sure it didn't mean Buffy liked HIM more, I mean come ON!

Not now, Spikey, go save the innocent, fight over Buffy later. If that girl died because of our bickering she'd never forgive either of us...

I ran fast hoping to catch up to whatever or where ever this thing was. After running down an alleyway I found nothing. No blood marks, no icky goo, nothing just normal ally things. I kept my eyes open and tried harder to focus on the screams, this place was big and it could of led anywhere. I stopped for a moment as I waited on Angel and Spike

"It's bouncing off the walls, hard to get a position, but I think...it's from somewhere in that direction." I said, indicating a westward direction from where we were.

I wasn't totally sure though since the screaming seemed to bounce off everything. It was frustrating, but hopefully I was right.

"Come on, let's go see if I'm right."

Sure, lets run after you and go the wrong way.

"I think we should really split up this time, cause I'm thinkin' it's coming from over there." I point eastward. Of course, my bloody hearin' was shot because of the damn acoustics of this place.

Besides, we'd cover more ground if we split up now. No, we had to bicker and follow Buffy at first. I swear, this pissin' contest is going to get us killed, if not on Buffy's "To Stake" list.

Fine. I go this way, you go that way and Buffy can get the rest. Let's go before she's dead.

Angel headed off in his direction and I started in mine, hopefully one of us would find this damsel in distress in time...

I didn't find much in my direction, not that peroxide boy was going to know that. Then I heard what sounded like fighting. I rushed towards it, realizing I was heading in Buffy's direction. Something must be attacking her.

I ran as fast as I could, nearly running into Spike who also had started heading towards Buffy. Thank GOD for vampire reflexes.

I shook my head and kept running, just in time to see Spike jump at something by a wall, and what was that I smelled? No matter, and as much as I wanted to make him look bad in front of Buffy, Spike would have to fight while I looked for the girl. Had to find her and make sure she's okay...

I heard a fight goin', and cursed. I headed where Buffy went, and captain forehead was never going to know that I had failed to find anything in my direction.

I nearly ran into the bloody idiot as we apparently heard the noise at the same time. I left him in the dust as I ran towards a greenish looking thing and jumped at it as it tried to get up, knocking it back again and getting slime all over me, bloody HELL that's gross!

I kept fighting, trying to help Buffy out, and was kind of surprised Angel didn't come over here and try to show off or make me look bad. I guess he must be looking for the girl, makin' sure she's alright.

Fine with me, his loss in front of Buffy...

I put my hands back up and prepared for anything the green machine could put out. As I tried to punch him as he again charged I felt my hands starting to get heavier than before. My punch was weak but still effective nonetheless. I felt another jerk in my stomach before Spike showed up just in time. My legs were more quick to get heavy and as I tried to kick I fell to the ground with my back hitting the ground hard. I let out a grunt before trying to get back up

"Figures he's a bloody pain in the neck." I said as it started to come for me. "That's it, you big sodding blob...come this way..."

I moved, getting him further from Buffy. Then I struck for his neck with a kick, and hit him, or it, whatever the hell it was. But it wasn't hard enough, and the goo he was trailing on the floor made me slip.

It stumbled backwards with a yell, then sprayed in my direction. But I moved quickly, thank GOD for vampire reflexes, and went at him again.

This time I solidly connected. I felt and heard something crack, and it fell down with a scream.

"Take that! Not so good without your bloody necklace intact, are ya?"

I finally found her. She wasn't moving, and first I thought she was dead. But when I touched her, she was warm. She looked at me, not moving at all, just her eyes on me. It must be that monster Spike is fighting.

"Don't worry, you're going to be okay. I'm going to help you." I told her. She didn't look so good. Nor did she answer me, she just continued to stare at me, her eyes wanting to believe me.

I looked up to see Spike still fighting the monster, but getting a good shot at it. "You got it, Spike? I found the girl, she's paralyzed." I then saw Buffy still struggling to get up, it must have hit her too.

"Buffy!" I looked at the girl, and said, "I'll be right back, don't worry."

I then went over to help Buffy up and get her out of the way before she was hit by this monster with the paralyzing goo.
