The nightmare of a day ended in wonderful fashion. Chris ended up staying and I finally had a family. Well I have that with Piper as well, but it was different when it is your real mom.
I couldn't sleep that well I tossed and turned, the worries of whats to come getting to me. I just wanted to be at home with a mom...and now a dad who loves me. I guess I don't get those things for that long. They are temporary pleasures, something that someone like me doesn't get to keep.
I finally got up sometime around 3 am and walked through the house to the kitchen. I looked in the fridge to see what was in there and there was some beer. I take the bottle out of the fridge and contemplate getting shit faced so I could sleep. Something to make it all go away.
Thats when Craig walked in...shit I thought to myself. So much for having a dad. I knew it had to end sometime...this just happens to be that time. I look at him with an innocent forgive me look, not that I think it will matter.
